Bottle it Up by Kiriska Bottle it Up by Kiriska
Edit: Thanks so much for the DD... o_o

Had a really hard time figuring out colors on this...still not sure I'm happy with them, but I got tired of tweaking.

The original inks for this are for sale. $75 shipped. Note if interested.

Lyric by Sara Bareilles.
Ink, Photoshop.

Bottle it Up by Kiriska is a wonderful illustration combining drawing and typography. The lines and words jump in a way that brings the lyrics to life.  ( Featured by pica-ae )

For a second I thought you must work for KLEI Entertainment because some of your works really have Don't Starve kind of style in them!

I think you could do something else with this, it gives me the feeling it has potential to be part of a new, bigger image as well as this one.

I have an old friend who just adores my laugh ... and he has told me for decades that he wishes he could bottle it and sell it and make his fortune!  What a nice thing for him to say:) You have a very interesting gallery.  I like it!  And, congrats on the DD!

I like the color scheme. The colors of the smoke and bottle complement the color of the words. I don't think it needs anything to counter or contrast it, but it would look interesting. Either way, great job with this!

This is fantastic! I think it would look a bit better with a contrasting color in the background, making the focus pop a bit more. But the art is fantastic, and I do like the colors too!

Are these really lyrics to a song? Everyone's saying that, but I've never heard them before...

Sara Bareilles. One of the few people in the celebrity world who can sing, and whose lyrics make sense.

The imagery is really good. The line work is really amazing and colorful I want to talk more about it but I'm not so good on feedback yet

I think it turned out well with the text and bottle having the stronger color and the smoke having more muted tones. It comes as a whimsical notification that someone's saxophone playing is too loud and you want them to know that you care enough tell them that the magic needs to temporarily stop. It's friendly and doesn't hit me like a wall of cologne but a better light scent, and kudos for not using a prepared font! The smoke is really good and it's also good that you lightened it so that the letters would be more readable. I think I would have chose green also.
