Some Kind of Tea Party by Kiriska Some Kind of Tea Party by Kiriska
This concept has been stuck in my head a while, so yay for it being on paper now. No critique desired because I'm sure I can spot more things wrong with it than you. x; I don't plan on coloring this either. Ink work can be standalone!

I try never to say this because I think it sounds egocentric, but this drawing makes me want to write about it.

Beautiful work! I love the feel of this... very old fashioned English. xD And the fox lady looks so elegant. ^^

congrats, your entry certainly earned yourself the winning prize. Not only did you capture an excellent theme, the method also matched it very nicely too "like what you'd see in an old book" my husband said.

Reminds me about print making :) I kind of miss it.

Mmm, I am in love. xD I think my favorite part might be the raven there. I also love the canine's hat! Great shit here. :D

So cool... I love that grandfather clock in the background. And the foxy lady's gloves are really pretty! :excited: Again, I'm reminded of some sophisticated Animal Crossing. ;D

Ahhhaha, I hate that clock. It makes obvious all my perspective mistakes. It's AC: Victorian England!

I think I'll enjoy myself more if I pretend perspective doesn't matter. C:

The sign for AC: Victorian England would be all pretty and lacy... All the phrases would be "bully" and "wot wot" and "splendid"... They would invite you over to tea parties. Tom Nook would have a monocle.

You'd enjoy yourself more, but you'd never get a job. :P

Also, Tom Nook with a monocle would be so amazing.

*grumbles* Isn't everything like that?

The hairstyles would be muttonchops for the boys, birdcages for the girls. <3

Thanks! I really don't intend to color it though. I'm trying to work more on my inks so they can stand on their own. Black and white illustration needs more love! x3
