Sherotter and Johnhog by Kiriska Sherotter and Johnhog by Kiriska
"You don't want to finish the tea, John, I was soaking my shrunken head in the pot."

--

Reblog from here.

The next time fandom inexplicably decides that our fine protagonists are going to represented as adorable animals, can we please not pick a hedgehog. Hedgehogs are really hard to draw. ;____;

PaintTool SAI, Photoshop.
That scarf belongs to BBC. I suppose.

Good names!
I can relate to Sherotter. Even though I don't get the chance to inspect human bodies, I often find it fascinating to inspect the bodies of animals; mice and birds that are cats bring in.

Dear Kiriska:

This is Indy. Greetings from Canada!!! I hope this finds you and yours well.

Ah, dear John, the true British hedgehog!!! After reading Sherlock's comment, I may never look at a cup of tea the same again!!! Excellent work again, kiddo, this will following your Afghan Hound!Holmes and Corgi!Watson into my favs!!!

Now, do I dare ask where on Earth Sherlock would get a shrunken head? I ask questions like for there are times when I like to live dangerously!!!

Believing in Sherlock Holmes always,

Indy.

Haha, thank you! Perhaps Sherlock was gifted the head as a reward for solving one case or another -- a grateful explorer gave it to him, maybe? Or he might have casually claimed it from evidence at some point. Who knows!

Dear Kiriska:

This is Indy. Greetings from Canada!! I hope this finds you and yours well.

Casually claimed it? This is Sherlock. Please define "casually claimed." If you meant swiped, I'm with you all the way on that one!!! Still, if I found out that Sherlock had been monkeying around with my teabags, I'd be drinking iced tea for the rest of my natural life!!! Sherlock tampers with THAT, and he'll have his holier than thou bippy kicked from London to Land's End and back!!

I'm half British, and like our good doctor/hedgehog, I do value my tea highly!!!

Am I correct in thinking that the humanizing of Sherlock continues?

Believing in Sherlock Holmes always,

Indy.

Swiped, definitely, haha! He'll be strolling through evidence, see it in a plastic bag, and then just casually deposit it in his coat pocket when no one's looking! Better for him to experiment on it than for it to sit on a dusty shelf forever!

It'd be too much trouble for Sherlock to purposefully tamper with teabags everywhere, I think. It'd just be poor John living with the many, many side effects of sharing a kitchen with someone who keeps chemistry equipment on the table and body parts in the fridge!

Dear Kiriska:

This is Indy. Greetings from Canada!! I hope this finds you and yours well.

I've been wondering about his Belstaff. 1) Are the pockets big enough to hold a human head and 2) Does it keep him warm? I ask the last question for I've seen pictures of Benedict, as Sherlock, wandering around in a white down filled winter coat OVER the Belstaff.

Would it be too dangerous for me to assume that the Belstaff is made from wool tweed?

Believing in Sherlock always,

Indy.

Well, shrunken heads are pretty small! Hence why he would also be able to fit one inside a teapot, for whatever reason. But I agree that the coat doesn't seem very warm. Wool tweed sounds about accurate for the material, but perhaps it isn't keeping heat in very well since it isn't buttoned up most of the time? And he's just wearing a plain shirt underneath mostly!

Oh mai GAWD!!! :O They look exactly like my two pets, my ferret and my hedgehog. I know it's an otter, but it reminds me of my ferret. Haha, wow, I might have to re-name them now... ;)
